The Belmont Abbey Crusaders plated six runs in the fourth and Blake Waldren threw eight scoreless frames to send the Crusaders to day three of the Conference Carolinas Baseball Championships in Burlington.

From there, Waldren threw into cruise, retiring ten straight Pfeiffer hitters at one time, as the Florida native went eight innings, striking out six, walking just one.

Four hitters would get multi-hit games in the 13 hit attack.  Kayden Krause, Colin Rosenbaum, Lorenzo Wright and Thomas Yoder accounted for eight safeties on the night.
