BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team defeated Coker 10-2 Wednesday at Abbey Yard as the Crusaders tallied 10 hits including two home runs. The Abbey improves to 10-15 on the year as Coker moves to 10-11-1.


Mason Dodd went 3-for-3 with two RBI on his 10th home run of the season.

Ben Gobbel, Derrick Dabney, and Kale Rhame all collected two hits each with Gobbel driving in two.

Jakob Rolly Crushed his fourth home run of the season in the sixth inning.

Joe Cooney pitched 1.1 innings striking out three to earn his first win of the season.

Jason White closed out the game tossing 2.2 innings with three strikeouts.
