BELMONT, N.C. -- Sean Halloran scored 20 of his career-high 27 points in the second half, sparking a furious comeback that resulted in a 109-94 win over Young Harris Saturday afternoon at the Wheeler Center.

The Crusaders (3-1) outscored the Mountain Lions (0-4) 55-33 after intermission, including 44-18 in the final 14:30.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Halloran hit 10 of 14 from the field, including five of six from three-point range. He also hit both of his free throws, grabbed five rebounds, dished out seven assists and made three steals.
• DeQuan Abrom added 24 points and nine boards.
• Three other Crusaders reached double figures -- Romeao Ferguson (17 and eight rebounds) and Ryan Shaffer and Quest Aldridge with 11 each.
• Belmont Abbey shot 61.2 percent from the field overall and 71.2 percent in the second half.
• The Crusaders hit 15 of 27 (55.6 percent) from beyond the arc, overcoming 23 threes by Young Harris.
• The Abbey also posted a 45-31 advantage on the boards.
• The Mountain Lions led 61-54 at the break.
• Belmont Abbey trailed by as many as 13, 70-57, at the 16:54 mark and were behind 76-65 just over two minutes later.
• But a 10-0 run closed the margin to one by the 14-minute mark, then answered five straight Mountain Lion points with an 8-3 spurt.
• 12 straight points turned a 90-88 deficit into a double-digit lead, 100-90.
• The Crusaders topped 100 points for the second time in four games this season.
