GREENVILLE, S.C. – Belmont Abbey senior DeQuan Abrom has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for November 24-30, the league office announced today. He is the second Crusader to win the award this year, joining Romeao Ferguson.
Abrom finished Belmont Abbey's win over Limestone on Wednesday with 25 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block.
The preseason All-American from Washington, D.C., finished the win over the Saints shooting 9-of-15 (60 percent) from the field overall. He connected on 50 percent (4-of-8) of his three-point attempts. The reigning Conference Carolinas Player of the Year was also a perfect 3-of-3 at the charity stripe.
