Men's Golf Fires 296 To Finish Tied For Seventh At Rendleman Invitational

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team closed with a final round 296-24 strokes  better than yesterday's score-as four players recorded scores in the 70s to as the Crusaders finished tied for seventh out of 18 teams at the Richard Rendleman Invitational. The event was hosted by Catawba College at the par 71 Country Club of Salisbury.

Belmont Abbey came out on fire, as Paul Lenartowich carded an even par 71 to record his highest career finish, a tie for eleventh.  He opened with a 77. Cameron Buist shaved six strokes off of yesterday's 79 to end up in a tie for 18th.

Taylor Inouye fired an opening round 81 and closed with a 76 to finish in a tie for 46th. Matthew Reid opened with an 83 and closed with a 76 to end up in a tie for 55th and Knox Gibson tied for 74th with rounds of 84 and 81.
