Belmont Abbey junior Nolan Albrecht recorded a career-high 16 kills as he hit .625 in the match to lead the Crusaders men's volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep at North Greenville this evening. Belmont Abbey wins for the second-straight match by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23. The Crusaders are now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in league play, while North Greenville, a first year program, are 0-6 overall and 0-4 in Conference Carolinas.
The Abbey hit a season best .306 as Albrecht led all players with 16 kills on 24 total attacks with just one error. He also had eight digs. Justin Snyder added five kills on seven attacks with no errors (.714). Derek Sullivan handed out 31 assists.
Albrecht's eight digs led the Abbey, with Kimbrell adding four.
