Men's Cross Country Finishes Fifth At Warriors Invitational

For the second straight race, Belmont Abbey freshman Jonah Wilamowski and Patrick Lester were the top two Crusader finishers as the men's cross country team finished fifth out of eight teams this morning at the Warriors Invitational, hosted by Southern Wesleyan.

The Crusaders totaled 131 points. Warner University won the title with 40 points.

Today's race was an eight kilometer distance as Wilamowski finished 13th with a time of 29:30. Lester came in just over a minute later, finishing 24th with a mark of 30:32.

David Iverson was 31st with a mark of 31:03. Ryan Caulley was next, finishing 39th with a time of 32:32.

Other Abbey finishers were Joe Thierfelder (48th-33:27), EJ Cerdeiras (60th-35:08) and Steph-Yves Louis (64th-36:30).
