Hilliard Captures Win at National Tournament

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – Greg Hilliard recorded a win with his 14th pin of the season in the NCAA National Tournament. Hilliards' first trip to the national tournament concluded with his 1-2 record in the 165 weight class. Hilliard defeated Devin FitzPatrick of St. Cloud State with a fall in 1:28 the first consolation round.

Hilliard was defeated by Tyler Mann of Ouachita Baptist in the first round by a 6-0 decision. After the win over FitzPatrick Hilliard was matched up with Minnesota State's Seth Elwood when he was defeated in an 11-6 decision.

Hilliard finished the season with a 26-13 record and a team-high 14 pins.
