Head Coach Mike Lynch commented on the game, stating: "The greatest compliment a player can receive is their TEAMmates giving their best, to play for them as much as for the result. This is what we witnessed today. A TEAM who respects and loves their seniors and gave it their best for them. I was also pleased to see senior captain Cierra Skyers finish the last week of the regular season with three goals against quality opponents, two on Tuesday against Tusculum and one today. We are excited to be hosting the conference quarterfinal."
Belmont Abbey will next play on Tuesday, November 1 when it plays at home in the Conference Carolinas quarterfinals. The match will kick off at 2 pm.
