Women's Tennis Falls on the Road to Anderson

HILTON HEAD, SC – The Belmont Abbey women's tennis program fell to Anderson University this afternoon 9-0. The loss brings the Crusaders to 5-10 overall while the Trojans improve to an 8-5 overall record.

In singles Seitz would win the first set 3-6 but dropped the second 6-3 to bring up a close third set of 10-6 to Nikkola Wichenko.

Darian DeFrench and Kiersten Cox would battle a tough 5-8 loss against Alexandra Ebner and Jennifer Holcombe.

The Crusaders will be back in action on Thursday, March 17 as they will face Southern Wesleyan on the road.
