Jandyala Solid Against Catawba

BELMONT, NC - The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision this afternoon to Catawba at the Reidy Tennis Center.  The Abbey dipped to 9-14 on the year, while the Indians improved to 12-10.  It was the final home match of the season for the Crusaders, who celebrated their Senior Day.

In doubles play, Erika Noblett and Morgan Zahnd got the Crusaders only win, as they posted an 8-5 victory at the #3 spot.

Freshman Aisiri Jandyala got the Crusaders' singles play off to a good start with a 6-4, 6-2 win at #1.  Then freshman Emily Heim closed out the day with a tiebreaking win at #6 singles, by a score of 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
