Abbey has Strong Performance at Appalachian State Indoor Open

Seven female runners represented Belmont Abbey in today's Appalachian State Indoor Open in Boone, NC.

Senior Brien Crisci ran the 400 Meter Dash in 1:00, which gave her a fourth-place finish.  Freshman Julia Otranto also ran the 400 Meter, and did so in 1:08.

Crisci finished the 200 Meter Dash in 28.19 seconds, earning her a third-place finish in that event.  Freshmen Linda Randazzo and Amanda Harrison also ran for the Abbey in that event.

Belmont Abbey also had two women compete in the Shot Put.  Desenais threw 9.64 meters for a seventh-place finsh, while Lauren Morrow's 7.16 meters also earned her a top-ten finish.

The Crusaders will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championship in Winston-Salem's JDL Fasttrack.
