Coreen Norwood is a 6’1 Middle Blocker from Fort Collins, CO and played for Fort Collins High School and played Club Volleyball for NORCO Volleyball Club. Coreen was a four year starter for her high school and helped lead her team to the regional tournament all four years. Her senior year, Coreen had the second highest hitting average in the state of Colorado hitting a .387, and led her team in blocking and hitting averaging 11 points per game. Coreen was selected an Honor Athlete all four years and made third team All-Conference Honorable Mention her sophomore year, Second team All-Conference junior year, First team All-Conference her senior year, and Academic All-State her junior and senior year. In club Coreen helped her team qualify for the Junior Olympics for three years, and also placed 8th in the Open Division at the Northwestern National Qualifier in Reno, NV. Coreen was also highly involved with school activities and was a member of the school symphony and also participated in the math honor society, National Honor Society, and was also a peer counselor. In her spare time Coreen was a member if the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and volunteered with meals on wheels, medical center of the Rockies, and the Fort Collins Symphony. Coreen plans on majoring in Psychology and has a younger sister Victoria 17.
